Outcome-Based Strategy
Enter the UAE or Saudi Arabia with a plan built for how Gulf buyers decide
Getting a licence in the Gulf takes weeks. Winning your first enterprise customers takes much longer, and most of that time is lost in the first year: chasing the wrong accounts, appointing the wrong partner, or hiring before the offer has been tested here. We build your localised go-to-market framework so you start with the right market, the right buyers and the right model.
This is for you if…
- You are planning to enter the UAE or Saudi Arabia and need a plan head office will sign off.
- You are deciding which market to start with, or how to sequence the UAE and KSA.
- A distributor or agent has offered to “take you to market” and you are not sure whether to accept.
- Your home-market pricing, messaging and sales process do not seem to work here.
- You want to know what success will cost before you commit people and budget.
What we work on

An example engagement
A European software company choosing between Dubai and Riyadh
Illustrative, based on situations we commonly see. Client names and details are kept confidential.
- The situation
The company had a few Gulf customers through a reseller and wanted its own presence, but could not decide where to start or whether to keep the reseller.
- What we did
We sized the opportunity by sector in both markets, spoke with buyers and partners, and compared three routes to market. The framework started in the UAE with direct sales to a defined set of target sectors, kept the reseller for smaller deals, and set clear conditions for opening in Saudi Arabia.
- What changed
The board approved a sequenced plan with budgets and milestones, and the company started executing within two months instead of spending a year finding its way.

Questions
Ask us anything else in your strategy session.
Do you help with company formation and licensing?
No. We focus on the commercial side: market choice, customers, pricing, partners and the sales plan. We can introduce you to formation and legal advisers, and plan around their timelines.
Should we start in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
It depends on your sector, deal size and buyers. Saudi Arabia is the larger market, and for government-linked work its regional headquarters rules can affect whether you can bid. The UAE is often faster to start in for private-sector sales. Our assessment compares both for your offer.
Does this include lead generation?
No. Outcome-Based Strategy is purely strategic: we build the framework and blueprint, and you decide how to execute. If you want us to sell for you, that is our Retainer + Performance model.
Do we need a local partner or distributor?
Sometimes. In some sectors a partner opens doors you cannot open alone; in others it adds margin and removes your control of the customer. We set out the options, realistic terms and how to protect yourself if you appoint one.
